PRIVACY POLICY
This policy explains how QR Competitions collects, uses and protects your personal information.
What we collect
We may collect information such as your account and contact details, age or date of birth, address, competition entries, ticket and referral history, affiliate and commission details, and payment transaction information. We may also collect device, IP and log data, marketing preferences, and communications with our customer support team.
Why we collect it
To run and verify competitions, confirm eligibility and age, deliver prizes, credit referral rewards and commission, prevent fraud, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Analytics cookies
Optional. They tell us anonymized page views, entry funnel drop-off and which prizes perform best. Data is aggregated and never used to identify you personally.
Payments
Card details are captured and stored by our PCI-compliant payment processor. We never see or store full card numbers on our own systems.
Referrals and QR codes
Your personal QR code contains an unique referral reference. When someone joins through it we record the link between the two accounts so we can credit your free entries and commission.
Retention
We retain different types of information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, meet our legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and applicable requirements.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email support@qrcompetitions.co.uk and we will respond to valid requests within the timescales required by applicable data protection law.
